Hotel Room Attendant

You clean and make up between 14 and 16 rooms a shift, working from the housekeeping list handed out at the start of the day. You strip and remake beds, clean the bathroom and replace the amenities, dust and vacuum, restock the minibar and record what was used. You report maintenance faults and lost property to the floor supervisor, who checks a sample of rooms. Linen is counted in and out of the trolley. The shift is 08:00-16:00 with one rest day a week and a second every other week.

Compulsory schooling completed, hotel experience welcome but not required

English at A2 for short exchanges with guests in the corridor

Attendants who work steadily to standard are trained to check rooms themselves and move to the floor supervisor role, which also covers the linen order.

You work on the guest floors with a service lift, a stocked trolley and a linen room on each level. Gloves, a tabard and closed non slip shoes are provided, and the cleaning products are dosed automatically.
