Construction Site Laborer

You serve the crew: unload block, rebar and pipe from the truck, mix and carry mortar, cut and bend light reinforcement, and keep the trench and the walkways clear. You handle the compactor and the cut off saw, hold the staff for levels, and help the pipe layer bed and align each section. The dumper and the small excavator stay with the licensed operator, you signal and secure the area. Hours are 07:00-12:00 and 13:00-16:00 from Monday to Friday, with the site foreman as your direct contact.

Middle school certificate, no trade qualification needed

Some experience on a building or civil works site

Physically fit for lifting and outdoor work in any weather

Able to mix mortar and handle a compactor safely

The 16 hour site safety course, paid by the company if you lack it

Basic English or Italian to follow instructions

Net salary from 1330 up to 1460 EUR per month

Six month contract under the construction collective agreement

Crew van from the Turin depot to each site

Paid 16 hour safety course and first aid training

Helmet, boots, high visibility clothing and rain gear provided

Labourers who take the machine operator licence move to dumper or mini excavator work, which pays a higher grade. The company also brings up its own pipe layers from the crew.

Open trenches and road works, with barriers, night lighting and a site cabin for breaks and washing. Helmet, high visibility clothing, boots with a steel toe cap and ear protection are mandatory.
