Maintenance Technician Mechatronics

You keep the moulding machines, the robot cells and the assembly stations running. The shift starts with the handover note and the open faults: you find the cause on a jammed axis or a failed sensor, replace the part from the store, and prove the cycle before the line restarts. Planned maintenance follows the weekly list, greasing, belt and chain wear, and pneumatic leak checks. Mould changes are done with the setter. You write every intervention into the maintenance sheet and mark the spare you used. Three shifts rotate weekly with a paid on call weekend once a month.

Technical secondary school or college in mechanics, electrics or mechatronics

At least three years in plant maintenance on production machines

Reading hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical diagrams

Fault finding on Siemens S7, frequency drives and sensors

Welding and turning for a simple repair part

Three shift rotation and on call weekends once a month

English at B1 for manuals and supplier support calls

Net salary from 952 up to 1045 EUR per month

Permanent contract with a four month trial period

Shift, night and on call allowances paid separately

Paid Siemens S7 and hydraulics courses at the maker's centre

Tools, work clothing and safety shoes provided

A technician who takes over the planned maintenance list becomes maintenance shift leader over three men, and the plant pays for the automation courses that lead to the engineering posts.

A clean hall at 24 degrees with a separate workshop, a spare parts store and a lifting beam over the moulding machines. Safety shoes, gloves, glasses and lock out tags for every intervention are provided by the plant.
