Food Production Worker

You work one station on the line: laying dough sheets, dosing the filling, shaping and closing the product, or feeding the packing machine and stacking trays on the pallet. Every hour you weigh a sample, check the seal and note it on the line sheet, and you wash down the station and the tools at the end of the shift. Metal detector alarms and any foreign body go straight to the technologist. Two shifts rotate weekly, 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00, and one Saturday a month is paid extra.

Primary school finished

Valid food handling health certificate, or willingness to obtain one

Three months in a food plant, a kitchen or a bakery

Standing work at line speed for eight hours

Strict hand hygiene and hair covering discipline

Bulgarian or English enough to read the line documents

Net salary from 753 up to 830 EUR per month

Permanent contract, the trial period is three months

Learning all four stations leads to the dosing and packing machines, and the plant sends its own people to the food safety and technologist courses instead of recruiting outside.

Fourteen degrees in the hall, washable tiled walls, a drain at every station and a separate changing room with lockers. Aprons, hair nets, gloves and non slip shoes are supplied and washed by the plant.
