Pharmaceutical Machine Operator

You run a blister packing machine and a bottle filling line for tablets and syrups. The day covers loading foil and cartons, doing the format change together with the setter, checking seal quality and print legibility every hour, weighing sample packs, and writing every check into the batch record. You gown up through the airlock, keep the room log current, and report any deviation to the shift leader at once. Two shifts rotate weekly, 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00, with a night shift in campaign weeks.

Secondary school finished, any profile

Within a year an operator who has learned the format changes moves up to machine setter, and the plant fills its line leader posts from its own people. The qualification course on packaging equipment is paid by the company.

A temperature controlled clean area with airlocks, hygiene zones and marked walkways. Gowns, hair covers, gloves and safety shoes are supplied and laundered by the employer, and hearing protection is worn on the filling line.
