Warehouse Worker

The warehouse sits in the Kopilica business zone, close to the freight station. You unload trucks at the ramp, check the goods against the delivery note, put pallets and boxes away on the racks, then pick and pack orders for shops on the coast and the islands. Before dispatch you stack and wrap the pallet and help load it. Stock records are kept on a hand scanner, and twice a year you help with the stocktake. Two shifts run 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00 with a weekly rotation; the shift leader hands out the daily order list.

Finished primary school

No previous warehouse experience needed, training is given on site

Lifting and carrying boxes up to 25 kg through the shift

Care with counting goods and reading a delivery note

Willingness to rotate two shifts every week

Basic English for scanner menus and safety signs

Net salary from 1000 up to 1150 EUR per month

Fixed term contract with full pension and health insurance

Workers who complete the fixed term and pass the forklift course, paid by the employer, join the loading team at 1150 EUR net a month.

A covered hall with concrete floors, loading ramps and forklift traffic on marked lanes; the ramp side is open to the weather. Safety shoes, gloves and a high visibility vest are worn on every shift.
