Delivery Van Driver

You load the van at the depot against the route list, check the seal and the quantity, and drive the round in the order the system gives you. At each stop you hand over the goods, take the signature on the handheld and bring a refused item back with the reason noted. You run the daily vehicle check before you leave, report a fault the same morning and refuel on the company card. The round starts at 06:00 and the van is back at the depot by 15:00. You report to the dispatcher.

Driving licence B, with C1 an advantage for the heavier vans

At least two years of delivery driving in a city

Knowing Zagreb and the county roads well enough to plan a stop

Loading and carrying parcels up to 25 kg through the round

Careful paperwork on the handheld and on the delivery note

Basic English for the handheld menus and customer contact

Net salary from 1300 up to 1430 EUR per month

Permanent contract with full insurance from the first day

Daily meal allowance paid with the salary

A newer van kept and serviced by the company, no private vehicle needed

Fuel card and all road tolls covered

Paid training on the handheld and on safe loading

Drivers with a clean year on the city round move to the county routes, which carry a daily allowance, and the company pays for the driver qualification training for those who want the C category.

A heated depot for loading and then the road for most of the day, with city traffic, ramps and stairs at the delivery addresses. A vest and safety shoes are worn whenever you are out of the cab.
