We are looking for an experienced rebar worker for residential and commercial projects in Niš. You will read drawings, cut and bend reinforcement, and tie cages for foundations, slabs, and columns. We offer steady year-round work and a permanent contract.
About role
The rebar worker prepares and installs steel reinforcement per the structural drawings. You measure and cut bars on the bending machine, set the spacing, and tie cages and meshes with wire before concreting. You work with the foreman and concrete crew to keep the pour schedule and check cover and bar count before sign-off. Sites are across Niš and the surrounding district, mostly mid-rise buildings and infrastructure. Work runs Monday to Saturday, 07:00 to 17:00, with a clear plan for each pour.
Who's a fit?
At least 2 years as a rebar worker on building sites
Reading reinforcement drawings and bar schedules
Cutting and bending on a manual and machine bender
Correct tying of cages, stirrups, and mesh
Knowing cover, spacing, and overlap rules
Physically fit for outdoor work and lifting
Site safety discipline and helmet, harness use
