About role
You operate an industrial sewing machine on a production line, stitching cut pieces into finished garments for export orders. Most of the day is spent at one station, joining seams, attaching collars, cuffs or pockets, and passing the piece to the next operator. A line supervisor sets the daily target and checks quality on the spot. New operators get two weeks of paid on-the-line training before they are put on quota. Shifts are 8 hours, Monday to Friday, with a short morning and lunch break.
