Truck Driver (CE)

You drive a 40-ton Mercedes Actros articulated truck on fixed regional routes, delivering palletized goods to distribution centres and retail depots across Saxony and Thuringia. Daily work includes load securing with straps and edge protectors, operating the tail lift, and unloading with a hand pallet truck. You run two to four drops per tour, complete the digital tachograph and damage check, and keep delivery scans current on the handheld. Shifts start between 04:00 and 06:00 from the GVZ Leipzig depot, with most tours finished within nine hours. You stay in regional traffic, so you are home the same evening.

Driving licence class CE with valid entries

Driver qualification card (BKrFQG, code 95) up to date

Valid digital driver tachograph card

Experience with load securing and tail-lift operation

Clean handling of the vehicle and damage reporting

German at A2 for delivery papers and depot handover

Reliable on early starts (04:00-06:00)

Net salary 2260-2710 EUR (10% above market average)

Permanent contract, paid by the hour with documented overtime

Tax-free per-diem (Spesen) 14 EUR per full day

Drivers with a clean record move onto the better-paid long-distance and ADR routes, with the company funding the ADR hazardous-goods certificate. Reliable drivers can step into dispatch support or trainer roles for new hires.

Fixed parking bay and heated cab at the depot, break room with kitchen and showers at the GVZ Leipzig. The fleet is serviced in the company's own workshop, tyres and brakes checked on a regular schedule.
