Truck Driver

You drive a rigid vehicle or a tractor unit with a curtainsider on a fixed regional tour with eight to fourteen stops. You check the vehicle before departure, secure the load with straps and anti slip mats, keep the driving and rest times on the digital tachograph and hand over the goods against a signature. At the customer you help with the tail lift and the pallet truck. Damage and delays are reported to dispatch by phone. The tour runs 05:30-15:00 from Monday to Friday.

Driving licence category CE recognised in Germany, or category C with the wish to add CE

Driver qualification card under the professional drivers act, or willingness to obtain it

Digital driver card and knowledge of driving and rest times

Confident with load securing using straps and anti slip mats

At least two years of driving experience, regional work preferred

German at B1 level for customers, dispatch and delivery notes

Net salary from 2100 up to 2310 EUR per month

Permanent contract with working time recorded by the tachograph

Daily subsistence allowance paid free of tax

Home every evening, no night out and no weekend tours

Fixed vehicle kept by one driver and serviced by the depot

Work clothing, safety shoes, gloves and a rain jacket provided

Drivers with a clean tachograph record and a year in the depot can take the tank or the dangerous goods certificate, both paid for and both a higher wage group.

A depot with a loading bay and a workshop, then the tour on motorway and city roads in every weather. Safety shoes, a high visibility vest, gloves and a rain jacket are supplied by the employer.
