Reach Truck Driver

You put pallets away and retrieve them from racking up to eleven metres, working to the slot the warehouse system gives you on the terminal. You replenish the pick faces before the picking wave starts, check the pallet for overhang and damaged feet before you lift it and set a blocked slot right with the shift lead. You check the truck at the start of every shift, change the battery in the charging room and log a fault at once. Shifts run 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00 with a weekly rotation.

Valid forklift licence recognised in Germany, or willingness to convert it

At least two years on a reach truck in racking above eight metres

Head for heights and a steady hand at full lift height

Confident with a warehouse terminal and a slot instruction

Willing to rotate two shifts week by week

Basic English for the terminal and the pallet labels

Net salary from 2050 up to 2255 EUR per month

Permanent contract with full social insurance from day one

Shift supplement on the late shift and on Saturdays

Deutschlandticket paid by the employer

Canteen with a hot meal and a rest room on both shifts

Conversion of a foreign forklift licence paid by the employer

Work clothing, safety shoes, gloves and a high visibility vest provided

Drivers who work the high bay without damage are trained on the man up order picker and on the inventory team, which counts the slots and corrects the system stock.

A high bay hall with racking to eleven metres, narrow aisles with guide rails, marked walkways and a separate battery charging room. Safety shoes, vest, helmet and gloves are mandatory and supplied.
