Bricklayer / Mason
Construction — Munich, Germany
P-294 · Basic (A2) · 3 openings
A construction company near Munich needs masons for residential and commercial shell work across the city. Steady year-round sites, German rates, and a clear path to higher pay.
About role
You lay brick, block, and aerated concrete to plan, building load-bearing and partition walls on multi-storey shell sites. Days run roughly 7am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, with the occasional Saturday when a pour or a deadline demands it. You mix mortar, set out courses with a line and spirit level, cut units with an angle grinder or masonry saw, and keep the work plumb and square. Some sites use precast and Poroton block, so you read the layout drawings and check dimensions before you build. You work off scaffolding and mobile platforms, move material with a hoist or telehandler, and clear your station at the end of each shift. A foreman runs the crew and signs off each section before the next floor goes up.

Work environment
Sites are spread across Munich and the surrounding towns, mostly new-build apartment blocks and commercial shells. Expect real weather, dust, and lifting, with proper scaffolding, safety nets, and a foreman who checks the work. Crews are mixed nationalities, so you will not be the only one finding your feet with the language.
