Office Cleaner

You clean office floors, meeting rooms, kitchenettes and bathrooms across one or two buildings, usually in the Pipera or city centre business districts. A typical shift runs early morning before staff arrive, or late afternoon into the evening once desks empty out. The work is hands on: emptying bins, wiping desks and glass partitions, mopping, refilling soap and paper, and running a small upright vacuum over carpet. Bathrooms get the most attention, restocked and disinfected several times a shift. You log what you finish on a simple checklist so the supervisor can see each floor is done. Some sites use a ride on or push scrubber for the lobby tiles, and you get trained on it before you touch it.

After your first months you can move up to lead cleaner, taking charge of a floor or a small crew and the daily checklist. With that step the net pay rises from 670 to 780 euro a month. The company also pays for the scrubber and floor machine certification, which opens the door to better paid specialist shifts.

You work indoors in clean, heated office buildings, mostly on your own route but with colleagues nearby on the same shift. Sites are calm during cleaning hours, with little foot traffic, and supervisors are on hand if a machine acts up. Floors are tiled or carpeted, lifts handle the moving between levels.
