Production Line Operator

You work on an assembly line inside a manufacturing plant near Ploiești, feeding parts into the machines and taking finished pieces off the belt. A normal day means standing at your station, watching the line, packing product into boxes and stacking them on pallets. You scan barcodes, check that each piece looks right and pull anything broken before it moves on. The line runs in two shifts, 06:00 to 14:00 and 14:00 to 22:00, and the teams rotate weekly. You use simple hand tools and a barcode scanner, nothing that needs a licence. The supervisor sets the pace and tells you where to stand each morning.

Start at 810 € net per month while you learn the line. Once you know all the stations and keep a clean quality record, you move up to 940 € net, usually within four to six months. Operators who take on more, like training new people, are the first looked at for team lead.

The plant is a clean, indoor production hall that is heated in winter and ventilated in summer. It can get loud near the machines, so you wear ear protection, gloves and steel toe boots, all provided. The work is repetitive and you are on your feet, but there are scheduled breaks and the canteen is a short walk from the floor.
