Kitchen Assistant
Hospitality & Horeca — Constanța, Romania
P-256 · Basic (A2) · 4 openings
A hospitality and horeca company near Constanța needs extra hands in the kitchen for the busy season. Steady hours, a real cook teaching you the ropes, and food on every shift.
About role
You prep the vegetables, peel and chop onions, potatoes and carrots, and keep the cold station stocked before service starts. During the rush you wash dishes, pots and trays, run them through the industrial dishwasher and dry the knives by hand. You haul deliveries from the back door to the storeroom and keep the walk-in fridge in order. Between orders you wipe down the counters, mop the floor and take out the bins. Shifts run in two patterns, an early one from around 7 to 15 and a late one from 15 to 23, and weekends are the busiest. The head cook tells you what comes next, so you do not need to guess.

Work environment
The kitchen is a working horeca site, hot near the stoves and cooler at the prep tables, with tiled floors that get wet during service. You wear an apron, non slip shoes and gloves for the cleaning chemicals. It gets loud and fast when the tickets pile up, but the team is small and everyone pitches in.
