Truck Driver (Cat. C/CE)
Trade & Transport — Zagreb, Croatia
P-218 · Functional (B1) · 3 openings
A trade and transport company near Zagreb needs a Cat. C/CE driver for regional runs across Croatia and the wider region. Steady routes, modern trucks, and a clear way to move up to long-haul.
About role
You drive a Cat. C or CE rig on day and overnight runs, mostly palletised goods and building materials between the Zagreb depot, regional warehouses and customer sites. Mornings usually start at the yard around 5 to 6 with a walk-around check of tyres, lights, brakes and load straps before you roll out. You handle loading and unloading with a hand pallet truck or tail lift, secure the cargo properly and keep your delivery notes and tacho records in order. Most weeks are five days with the truck back at base, though some routes into Slovenia, Hungary or Bosnia mean one or two nights away. You log your hours on the digital tachograph and keep to driving and rest rules without cutting corners. Dispatch sends the day's drops to your cab tablet, so you plan your own sequence and call ahead when a site has tight access.

Valid Cat. C/CE licence with CPC (Code 95) and a current digital tacho card
At least two years behind the wheel of a heavy truck
Confident reversing into tight loading bays and on narrow yards
Know how to lash and secure different loads safely
Functional English (B1) for paperwork and border crossings
Clean record on driving and rest time rules
Benefits
Relocation support and help with paperwork for drivers coming from abroad
Shared company accommodation for the first months, then help finding your own place

Promotion terms
You start on regional runs and, once you know the routes and the fleet, move onto longer international lines that pay more per day. Drivers who keep a clean log and look after their truck get first pick of the better routes and a raise within the first year. Pay climbs from 1560 to 1790 net as you take on the longer cross-border work.
Work environment
The fleet is newer Euro 6 tractors with automatic gearboxes, lane assist and air-conditioned cabs, kept on a regular service schedule. The Zagreb yard has its own fuel point, wash bay and a driver room with showers and a kitchen. Loading happens at proper docks, so you are not lifting by hand all day.
