Steel Reinforcement Fixer

Cut, bend, and tie reinforcement steel for foundations, columns, slabs, and beams from bar-bending schedules. Position bars, place spacers, and secure cages so the concrete pour matches the structural drawings. Coordinate with the concrete crew and follow the site engineer's checks before each pour.

At least 2 to 3 years fixing reinforcement on construction sites. Able to read bar-bending schedules and reinforcement drawings. Physically strong, comfortable with heavy lifting and work at heights. Reliable and safety-aware. English not required.

Permanent contract with full social and health contributions. 20 days of paid annual leave. Overtime paid at the legal premium. Helmets, gloves, harnesses, and boots provided. Daily meal allowance and transport to sites across the region.

Path: Reinforcement Fixer → Lead Fixer (after 12 months) → Crew Foreman (24 to 36 months). The employer covers site-safety and working-at-heights certificates and gives lead fixers a higher pay grade.

Outdoor construction sites with seasonal weather and physically intense work. Day shift in fixing crews of 5 to 8 alongside the concrete team. Mandatory PPE, fall protection, and a daily toolbox talk before work starts.
