Distribution Truck Driver

You load the roll cages at the terminal against the loading list, check the temperature record of the load space and secure the cages with bars before you leave. On the route you deliver to eight to fourteen shops, take back returnable crates and empty cages, and get the delivery note signed at each stop. Loading times are booked, so the route is driven to a timetable rather than a target. You run the daily check of the vehicle, keep the driver card in the tachograph and report any damage to the dispatcher before the end of the shift. Shifts start between 04:00 and 06:00.

C or CE driving licence held for at least one year

Valid driver professional competence card and driver card

Experience of distribution driving in city traffic

Load securing of roll cages and pallets

Willingness to start the shift before 06:00

Finnish or English at a level that carries a delivery handover

Net salary from 2238 up to 2461 EUR per month

Permanent contract and full insurance from the first working day

Fixed route and a fixed vehicle, no overnight trips

Paid renewal of the professional competence training every five years

Drivers who add the CE class move to the trunk runs between the harbour and the regional terminals, where the rate is higher. The company pays the licence course and the ADR card for those who want them.

A refrigerated terminal at one end and shop loading bays at the other, with several hours of the shift spent at the wheel. A high visibility vest, safety shoes and winter clothing for the cold store are mandatory and provided.
