Forklift Driver

You unload trailers with a counterbalance truck, check the pallet count and the consignment note against the arrival list and move the load to the receiving lane. From there you put pallets away with a reach truck up to the eighth level, record every location in the warehouse system and bring replenishment pallets down to the picking faces before the shift changes. You check the truck at the start of every shift, note any fault in the daily log and change the battery at the charging room. Two shifts run 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00 with a weekly rotation.

Valid forklift card for counterbalance and reach trucks

At least one year of driving in a warehouse or terminal

Reading a consignment note and a pallet label without error

Careful handling of stacked and film wrapped loads

Willingness to rotate the morning and afternoon shift

Basic Finnish or English for the warehouse system and safety signs

Net salary from 1915 up to 2106 EUR per month

Permanent contract and full insurance from the first working day

Afternoon shift supplement paid separately on the payslip

Holiday bonus under the collective agreement and five weeks of holiday

Occupational health care and a meal benefit in the terminal canteen

Paid renewal of the forklift card and annual safety training

Work clothing, gloves, hearing protection and safety shoes provided

A driver who learns the warehouse system takes over goods receiving and the stock count, and the terminal fills its shift leader posts from among its own drivers. The narrow aisle truck training is paid.

A heated terminal hall with marked truck lanes separated from the walkways, eight level racking and a ventilated charging room. A high visibility vest, safety shoes and hearing protection at the docks are mandatory and supplied.
