Furniture Assembler

You read the cutting list and the assembly drawing, drill and dowel the panels, fit hinges, runners and handles and square the carcass before the back panel goes on. Every unit is checked for a clean edge and a flush door gap and then wrapped for shipping. Damaged panels are returned to the cutting section with a note. The shop works 06:00 to 14:00 and 14:00 to 22:00 from Monday to Friday, with the weekend free.

Trade school in woodworking or equal practice in a furniture shop

At least one year assembling cabinet furniture

Reads a cutting list and an assembly drawing

Confident with a cordless drill, a dowel jig and a square

Willing to rotate two shifts weekly

Basic English for fitting names and hardware labels

Net salary from 950 up to 1045 EUR per month

An assembler who learns the edge bander and the CNC nesting machine moves into the machining section, where the shop pays for the operator course.

A dry workshop with extraction at the drilling benches, a separate assembly area and a wrapping station by the loading door. Safety shoes, gloves and ear protection are mandatory and are supplied by the employer.
