Forklift Driver

You move finished pallets from the end of the line to the racking, feed packaging material back to the machines and load trucks against the loading list. Before each shift you check the forks, the mast, the horn and the battery charge and write the check into the machine log. Damaged pallets are set aside for the shift leader instead of being stacked. The plant runs 06:00 to 14:00, 14:00 to 22:00 and a night shift, in a weekly rotation.

Valid licence for a forklift or a reach truck

At least one year of driving in a warehouse or a plant

Confident stacking up to the third level of the racking

Reads a loading list and a pallet label

Willing to work a three shift rotation including nights

Basic English for the machine displays and the safety signs

Net salary from 760 up to 836 EUR per month

Permanent contract with insurance from the first day

Food vouchers of 100 EUR per month

Night shift supplement paid separately

Additional health insurance after the trial period

Christmas and Easter payment and a sum for the annual leave

Work clothing, safety shoes and a high visibility vest

Drivers with a clean record move to the loading desk and plan the truck slots for their own shift. The plant pays for the reach truck and side loader licences after the first year.

A high bay warehouse next to the production hall, with marked driving lanes, a battery charging room and a covered ramp. Safety shoes, a helmet on the loading ramp and a high visibility vest are mandatory and are supplied.
