Warehouse Worker

You pick orders from a handheld terminal, move pallets with an electric pallet truck and build mixed pallets for the shop routes. Each pallet is weighed, wrapped and labelled before it goes to the dispatch lane, and you sign off your own pick list. Goods arriving are counted against the delivery note and put away in the numbered racking. Two shifts run 06:00 to 14:00 and 14:00 to 22:00 with a weekly rotation, and you report to the shift leader on the floor.

Primary school finished, warehouse experience is not required

Able to lift boxes of up to 25 kg through a full shift

Careful with counting, labels and pick lists

Willing to rotate two shifts every week

An electric pallet truck licence is an advantage, the course is paid

Basic English for the terminal menus and the safety signs

Reliable with time, since the dispatch lane closes at a fixed hour

Net salary from 900 up to 990 EUR per month

A picker who learns the receiving desk moves to goods in and then to stock control. The site pays for the electric pallet truck and forklift licences after six months on the floor.

A heated hall with numbered racking, marked pedestrian lanes and a covered loading dock, kept at room temperature all year. Safety shoes, gloves and a high visibility vest are mandatory and are supplied by the employer.
