Forklift Operator

You unload trailers, put pallets away in racking up to nine metres, and pull orders against the scanner list. Before the shift you walk around the truck, check forks, chains, tyres and the horn, and sign the daily check sheet. During the shift you keep the aisles clear, wrap and label finished pallets, and report any damaged pallet or blocked location to the shift leader instead of forcing it. Battery changes and charging are part of the job. Two shifts rotate weekly, 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00, with Saturday only in a peak week.

Valid forklift licence, category Tvk or equivalent

At least one year on a counterbalance truck, reach truck is a plus

Enough English to read the labels and the system screens

Net salary from 954 up to 1050 EUR per month

The receiving desk paperwork is the step across to warehouse team leader on one shift, and the centre pays for the reach truck and the tow tractor licences.

Eleven thousand square metres under one heated roof, with marked pedestrian walkways, mirrors at the aisle ends and a separate charging room for the batteries. High visibility vest, safety shoes and gloves are mandatory and supplied.
