Hotel Room Attendant

You work a floor list of rooms: you air the room, strip and make the bed, clean the bathroom, replace linen and amenities, vacuum and check the minibar and the appliances. Departure rooms take the full clean and stay rooms the daily service. You report a fault, a forgotten item or a stain that will not come out to the floor supervisor, who checks the room before it goes back on sale. The list is between fifteen and eighteen rooms, worked 09:00-17:00 with a rota that includes weekends.

No previous hotel experience required, the standard is taught on the floor

Net salary from 1380 up to 1518 EUR per month

Paid training on the cleaning standard and on chemical handling

Attendants who hold the room standard for a year are trained as floor supervisors, the post that checks the rooms and organises the linen, and the hotel pays for that course.

Indoor work on guest floors with service lifts, a linen room on every floor and a trolley that is restocked by the linen porter. Gloves and non slip shoes are worn, and heavy mattresses are turned by two people.
