Office Cleaner

You clean the floor of your assigned area by sweeping and mopping, or with the scrubber drier in the halls and corridors. You empty and sort the bins, clean and restock the toilets, wipe desks, glass partitions and door handles, and leave the meeting rooms set up for the day. Once a week you do the deeper task on the calendar: skirting boards, lamps or interior glass. Materials are dosed to the written sheet. Hours are 06:00-14:00 from Monday to Friday, under the building supervisor.

No previous experience required, the method is taught in the building

Able to work standing and moving for a full shift

Reads a product data sheet and doses the chemical correctly

Discreet in occupied offices and careful with documents left on desks

Reliable at an early start, since the shift begins at 06:00

Basic English for product labels and safety signs

Residence permit valid for work in Spain

Net salary from 1320 up to 1452 EUR per month

Pay in fourteen instalments under the Madrid building cleaning agreement

Full time contract of forty hours, not a part time round

Permanent contract with social security registration from day one

Fixed building and a fixed schedule, so the journey is the same every day

Paid training on the scrubber drier and on chemical handling

Uniform, gloves and non slip safety shoes provided and replaced

Cleaners who take the machine and chemical course move to the specialist team for crystallising floors and interior glass, a graded post in the cleaning agreement.

Indoor work in heated and air conditioned office buildings, with a lift in every block and a materials room on each floor. Gloves and non slip shoes are worn at all times, and heavy machines are moved by two people.
