Furniture Carpenter
Wood & Furniture Production · Valencia, Spain
JB-874 · Basic (A2) · 5 openings
A furniture workshop in the Benicalap district of Valencia is taking on carpenters for its kitchen and wardrobe production. The shop works in melamine board, veneered panel and solid oak for shops and private orders. Permanent contract and a day schedule.
About role
You cut the panel on the beam saw to the optimised list, edge it on the bander and check the glue line and the trimming. You bore the hinge and shelf holes on the drilling machine, assemble the carcass with dowels and eccentrics and square it before the back goes on. Solid work means machining on the spindle moulder and the thicknesser, sanding and hand finishing. You measure every piece before it leaves the bench. Hours are 07:00-15:00 from Monday to Friday, under the workshop supervisor.
