Warehouse Worker

You receive pallets at the dock, check the quantity and the batch code against the delivery note, and put the goods away in the rack locations the scanner gives you. Through the shift you pick orders with a hand terminal, build pallets by weight so the heavy cases sit at the bottom, wrap them and move them to the dispatch lane. Damaged packaging goes to the shift leader and every correction is entered in the system. Shifts run 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00 on a weekly rotation.

Nine years of school completed, no trade qualification needed

Able to lift cases of up to 20 kg through a full shift

Careful with counting, labels and batch codes

Willing to rotate two shifts every week

Able to read a delivery note and a picking list

Basic English for the scanner menus and the safety signs

Residence and work authorisation for Greece, arranged before arrival

Net salary from 1000 up to 1100 EUR per month

Permanent contract after a three month trial period

Full EFKA insurance and the Greek fourteen salary year

Paid supplement for the afternoon shift

Company transport from Elefsina and Aspropyrgos

Paid training on the hand terminal and on manual handling

Work clothing, gloves and safety shoes provided

A picker who learns the receiving desk moves onto goods inwards within a year, and the site fills its team leader posts from the floor. The forklift operator licence course is paid by the employer.

A heated hall with marked walkways, pallet trucks on every aisle and a separate chilled room for short life goods. Safety shoes, gloves and a high visibility vest are mandatory and are supplied by the employer.
