Industrial Cleaner

You clean down after the line stops: guards removed where the plan allows, machine surfaces foamed, rinsed and disinfected, conveyors and drip trays washed, drains cleared and floors scrubbed by machine. Chemicals are dosed automatically and the contact time is respected before the rinse. You complete the cleaning record for each area and hand a swab point over to the quality technician. The shift is 18:00-02:00 from Monday to Friday, with a fixed plant and a fixed team.

Basic schooling and the right to work in Portugal

Cleaning or production experience is welcome, training is given

Able to work with water, foam and a pressure lance through a shift

Understands contact time, dilution and why records are signed

Willing to work the evening shift from Monday to Friday

Basic English for product labels and safety data sheets

Net salary from 830 up to 913 EUR per month

Permanent contract with Social Security from the first day

Night supplement on every hour worked after 22:00

Meal allowance of 6,15 EUR for every worked day

Company transport at the end of the shift, when the network is closed

Paid training on chemicals, confined spaces and machine lock out

Waterproof suit, boots, gloves and face shield provided

Cleaners who complete the records without correction move to team leader on a plant of their own, or to the machine team for floor scrubbing and high pressure work. Both steps carry training the employer pays for.

Production halls after the line stops, wet floors, foam and water at pressure, and a chemical store with automatic dosing. Waterproof suit, boots, gloves, face shield and ear protection are mandatory and are supplied by the employer.
