Delivery Driver

You load the van against the route list in the morning, check the seal on every cold box and note the temperature before you set off. On the round you hand the goods over at the counter, take the signature on the terminal and bring back returns and empty boxes. Damage or a refused delivery is photographed and written into the same terminal. Rounds run 06:30-15:00 from Monday to Friday, about eighteen stops a day, and the vehicle is washed and refuelled at the depot before it is parked.

Driving licence category B held for at least two years

Clean driving record and a valid medical certificate

Able to carry boxes up to 20 kg to a first floor counter

Comfortable with a hand terminal and electronic proof of delivery

Orientation in Brno and the surrounding districts

Czech or English at a level that carries a handover at the counter

Net salary from 1011 up to 1112 EUR per month

Permanent contract with insurance from the first day

Daily allowance for rounds that leave the Brno district

Five weeks of paid holiday a year

Meal allowance paid with the wage

Vehicle kept and serviced by the depot, no private use costs

Work clothing, safety shoes and a winter jacket provided

Drivers who hold category C move to the seven and a half tonne truck on the regional line after a year, and the employer pays for the professional driver card and the periodic training.

A loading dock under a canopy, a cold store for temperature controlled goods and vans that are three years old or newer with air conditioning. Safety shoes, gloves and a high visibility vest are worn on the dock.
