Industrial Electrician
Construction · Pancevo, Serbia
JB-638 · Functional (B1) · 4 openings
An electrical contractor in the southern industrial zone of Pancevo installs and maintains low voltage systems for plants in the chemical and food industry. It needs electricians for cable routes, distribution boards and motor connections.
About role
You lay cable on trays and in conduit from the single line diagram, terminate into the distribution board, and connect motors, sensors and lighting circuits. Every circuit is tested before it is energised: insulation resistance with the megger, continuity of the protective conductor, and the loop, all recorded on the test protocol. On a shutdown you work to a permit and a lock out, and nothing is switched without the plant engineer. Half the year is new installation and half is maintenance. Days are 07:00-15:00 with planned shutdown weekends paid at the higher rate.
