Maintenance Electrician

You keep the plant running: you answer a stoppage call, find the fault with a multimeter and the wiring diagram, replace contactors, sensors, motors and cables, and put the machine back with the guard in place. Planned work is the weekly round of cabinets, thermal images of the busbars, tightening terminals, and testing the emergency stops with a written record. You lock off and tag out before every job on a drive, log parts used, and write the fault into the maintenance book for the next shift. Three shifts rotate weekly, with a paid on call weekend once a month.

Finished trade school or technical secondary school in electrical work

At least three years of maintenance in a factory, not only installation

Fault finding on three phase drives, contactor logic and sensors

Reading a wiring diagram and a terminal list, PLC signals a plus

Discipline with lock off and tag out, every time, without a reminder

Willing to rotate three shifts and to take a monthly on call weekend

English at B1 for German and Italian machine manuals

Net salary from 1093 up to 1200 EUR per month

Permanent contract, with a three month trial

Night shift and on call supplements paid separately every month

Employer pays the low voltage work permit and the crane inspection course

Hot meal in the canteen on every shift, including nights

Company transport from Sisak, Petrinja and Kutina

Insulated tools, arc rated clothing, gloves and safety shoes provided

The plant trains its own maintenance shift leaders and pays the PLC programming course in Zagreb for electricians who want the automation side. Two of the current shift leaders came up this way.

An older but well kept plant with a proper maintenance workshop, a spare parts store and lock off boards at every panel. Arc rated clothing, insulated gloves, a helmet with a visor and hearing protection are supplied.
