Warehouse Operative
Trade & Transport · Zagreb, Croatia
JB-562 · Basic (A2) · 8 openings
A logistics centre in the Jankomir zone in Zagreb is taking on warehouse operatives for picking and dispatch of dry food and household goods. Eight places, a twelve month contract with an extension, and a hand scanner system that a new picker learns in two weeks.
About role
You pick orders from pallet racking with a hand scanner: the scanner names the location and the quantity, you take the cartons, stack the pallet so the heavy goods sit at the bottom, and confirm each line. A finished pallet you wrap, label and move to the dispatch zone, where the driver takes it. You also unload incoming trucks with a pallet truck, check the delivery note against what came off, and count one rack section per week for the stock check. Shifts run 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00 with a weekly rotation, and you report to the shift leader in dispatch.
