CNC Turning Operator

You run two axis CNC lathes with Fanuc controls on batches of fittings and shafts. The day covers clamping the bar or the blank, calling up the proven programme, running the first piece and measuring it with a caliper, micrometer and thread gauge, then correcting the tool offsets when the diameter drifts. You change worn inserts, keep the coolant level up and the chip conveyor clear, log the quantity per order, and hand over to the next operator with a short written note. Shifts are 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00 with a weekly rotation, and Saturdays are voluntary.

Technical school in machining or two years on a CNC lathe

Reading a technical drawing and simple ISO code

Confident with a caliper, micrometer and thread gauge

Changing inserts and correcting tool offsets without help

Two shift rotation with a weekly change

Basic English for control menus and safety labels

Net salary from 946 up to 1040 EUR per month

Permanent contract with full EFKA insurance

An operator who learns setup moves to setter inside a year, and the shop fills its shift lead post from the floor. The employer pays for the programming course at the local technical centre.

A machining hall with mist extraction over the lathes, marked walkways and a separate measuring bench. Ear protection, goggles, gloves and safety shoes are mandatory and supplied by the employer.
