Forklift Driver

You move palletised freight between the truck bays, the container ramp and the racking with a 2.5 tonne counterbalance truck and a reach truck. The day covers unloading a container, checking the pallet count and the carton condition against the packing list, scanning each pallet into its location, and staging outbound orders at the dock. You do the daily check on the forks, the mast and the battery before you start, put the truck on charge at the end, and report any damage to the warehouse supervisor. Two shifts rotate weekly, 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00.

Valid Greek forklift operator licence or an EU licence to convert

At least two years on a counterbalance or reach truck

Reading a packing list and a pallet label without help

Scanner work and the basics of a warehouse system

Two shift rotation and loading on some Saturdays

Functional English for shipping papers and driver handover

Net salary from 956 up to 1052 EUR per month

Permanent contract with full EFKA insurance

Drivers who take the reach truck and stock control training move to warehouse team leader inside two years. The company pays for extending the licence to platform and telescopic trucks.

A high bay warehouse with marked pedestrian lanes, a speed limit inside the aisles and a covered loading dock. High visibility vest, safety shoes and gloves are mandatory and supplied by the employer.
