Production Shift Supervisor

You lead 14 machine operators and two setters through the shift: staffing the machines at handover, releasing the first part after each tool change, and moving people when a machine stops. You track output and scrap per machine, sign off the quality records and call the setter or maintenance yourself when a cycle drifts. Absences, holiday requests and the training list for new starters are yours to keep in order. The late shift runs 14:00-22:00 with a rotation to earlies every fourth week, and you brief the next supervisor for ten minutes at the end.

Trade training in plastics, metal or a technical field

At least three years in production and one leading a team

Confident reading output, scrap and cycle time data

Calm handling of absences, conflicts and a stopped machine

Good German or English, because handover and records are written

Forklift licence is useful, the plant pays for it otherwise

Net salary from 2347 up to 2580 EUR per month

The next production manager will come from the three shift supervisors, and the plant says so openly. It pays the industrial foreman school in Braunschweig for supervisors who want the qualification.

A clean moulding hall at 24 degrees with granulate silos, robot cells behind guards and a glazed shift office on the floor. Ear protection, safety shoes and gloves for hot tools are supplied.
