Machine Operator

You set the line for the next order: change the format parts, load the correct label reel, set the filling volume and run a first article for the quality check. During the run you watch fill weight, cap torque and label position, correct a drift yourself and call maintenance when the fault is mechanical. You log downtime and output on the line terminal, take the samples the plan requires and hand the line over with a written note. Shifts run 06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00 and 22:00-06:00.

Trade qualification in a technical field or three years on a filling line

Confident with format changes and with a machine control panel

Able to read a work order, a recipe and a tolerance

Basic mechanical understanding for belts, guides and grippers

Willing to work three shifts including nights

Basic English for the control panel and the work instructions

Net salary from 2300 up to 2530 EUR per month

Permanent contract under the chemical industry collective agreement

Night, Sunday and public holiday supplements free of tax

Annual bonus payment set by the collective agreement

Paid training on the filling machine and on the labelling head

Work clothing, safety glasses, gloves and safety shoes provided

Operators who set the line alone and keep the output figure move to the line lead role, which covers two lines, the order sequence and the training of new operators.

A closed filling hall inside a chemical park, with guarded machines, extraction over the filling heads and a noise level around 80 decibels. Safety glasses, gloves, ear protection and shoes are supplied.
