CNC Machine Operator
Metal Industry · Rijeka, Croatia
JB-1073 · Basic (A2) · 2 openings
A metalworking shop is taking on CNC machine operators in Rijeka at a net salary from 1270 up to 1350 EUR per month. It makes precision turned and milled parts to customer specification and works two shifts. A CNC qualification is required, but earlier work experience is not.
About role
You run CNC turning and milling centres in a workshop in the Kukuljanovo industrial zone, east of the city, making precision metal parts in small and medium series. You clamp the blank, call up the proven programme, enter the tool offsets and cut the first piece, then measure it against the drawing with a caliper, a micrometer and bore gauges. During the run you watch tool wear, top up the coolant, deburr the parts and fill in the measuring sheet for the order. A dimension outside tolerance goes to the setter before the next piece is cut. Two shifts, 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00, rotate weekly, and you report to the workshop foreman.
