Food Machine Operator

You start and mind the filling, sealing and labelling machines, feed packaging material, clear minor stoppages and keep the line running at set speed. Every hour you take a check weight, read the seal and the date code and enter both in the control sheet. At the end of the shift you strip the machine for wet cleaning and hand it over to the hygiene team. Shifts are 06:00 to 14:00 and 14:00 to 22:00 with a weekly rotation.

Completed compulsory schooling, no food industry certificate required

Some experience of production, packing or kitchen work

Understanding of hygiene rules and why the cold chain matters

Careful record keeping on check weights and date codes

Able to clear a minor stoppage without calling maintenance

Willing to rotate two shifts weekly

Basic English for machine menus and cleaning instructions

Net salary from 2090 up to 2299 EUR per month

Operators who learn the changeover between formats become line setters, and the plant recruits its shift leaders from among the operators who know every machine on the line.

A chilled production hall at about 8 degrees with wet floors and machine noise. Hairnet, hygiene coat, non slip shoes and ear protection are mandatory, supplied and laundered by the employer.
