Warehouse Worker

You unload containers, check the goods against the packing list, register deviations in the warehouse system and put the pallets away in the right location. On the outbound side you pick orders with a hand terminal, wrap and label pallets and load trucks against the loading list. Shifts are 06:00 to 14:30 and 14:30 to 23:00 with a weekly rotation, and you report to the shift leader on the floor.

Completed compulsory schooling, no warehouse certificate required

At least six months of warehouse, port or production work

Able to read a packing list and register a deviation

Steady lifting of cartons up to 20 kg through a full shift

Willing to rotate between morning and afternoon shifts

Basic English, since the paperwork on container goods is in English

Forklift licence TLP10 is an advantage, training is paid

Net salary from 2200 up to 2420 EUR per month

Permanent contract under the collective agreement from day one

Workers who take the forklift licence move to reach truck work in the high bay, and the goods receiving team recruits its checkers from the floor.

A heated hall next to open loading docks, so the receiving end is cold in winter. Marked pedestrian lanes, high visibility vest and safety shoes are mandatory and supplied by the employer.
