Production Operator
Production & Manufacturing · Riga, Latvia
JB-1032 · Basic (A2) · 10 openings
A food production plant in the Ziepniekkalns industrial zone of Riga is taking on production operators for its packing and mixing lines. The plant supplies bakery and confectionery products to retail chains in Latvia and Estonia. The contract is permanent from the first day.
About role
You set the line for the product on the plan, load film and cartons, and start the run once the first packs pass the weight and seal check. Through the shift you watch the date code, take a sample every hour and log the result on the line sheet. A stoppage is cleared with the mechanic, and the reason is written into the shift report. Cleaning down the line at the end of the shift is part of the job. The plant runs 06:45-15:15 and 15:00-23:30 with a weekly rotation.
