Furniture Assembler

You take the panels off the conveyor, drill and dowel them to the assembly drawing, drive the fittings with a torque screwdriver and check that the carcass is square before the back panel goes on. Drawers and doors are hung, the gaps are adjusted and the piece is wiped, wrapped and labelled. Anything with a chip or a scratch goes to the repair bench. The shift is 06:00-14:30 or 14:30-23:00 on a weekly rotation.

Assemblers who learn the fitting adjustment and the repair bench move to final quality, which is paid at a higher grade. The plant fills its line leader posts from the assembly teams.

A heated hall with conveyor lines, height adjustable benches, dust extraction at the drilling stations and a separate packing area. Gloves, ear defenders at the machines and safety shoes are mandatory and are supplied.
