Bench Joiner

You cut timber and board to the cutting list, set up the panel saw and the spindle moulder and machine the joints. Frames are assembled on the bench, checked for square and fixed with screws or dowels. You fit hinges, locks and seals, sand the visible faces and mark the piece with the order number before it goes to the finishing room. The shift is 07:30-16:00 from Monday to Friday.

Trade certificate in joinery or equivalent practice in a workshop

At least two years on a panel saw, a planer and a spindle moulder

Able to read a cutting list and a simple joinery drawing

Accurate to one millimetre on frames and door openings

Careful with machine guards and with dust extraction

Basic Lithuanian or English for drawings and cutting lists

Net salary from 1450 up to 1655 EUR per month

Joiners who take on setting out and cutting lists move to the preparation bench, which plans the work for the whole shop and is paid at a higher grade. The workshop also sends joiners to site for fitting weeks.

A heated workshop with extraction at each machine, assembly benches with clamps and a separate finishing room. Ear defenders, eye protection, gloves and safety shoes are mandatory and are supplied by the employer.
