Construction Site Labourer

You carry and stack materials, mix mortar, dig and backfill trenches by hand where the excavator cannot reach and keep the working area and the access route clear. You help the bricklayers and the formwork crew, hand up tools and set out simple lines with a tape and a level. At the end of the day the tools are cleaned, counted and returned to the container. The day runs 07:00-16:00 from Monday to Friday.

Completed primary school, no trade certificate required

Physically fit for outdoor work in all weather

Able to lift up to 25 kg and to work at height with a harness

Willing to move between sites in the city by company van

Site safety induction, which the employer arranges and pays for

Basic Lithuanian or English for instructions and safety signs

Net salary from 1028 up to 1175 EUR per month

Labourers who learn to set formwork or to lay block move into a trade crew within a season, which is paid at a higher rate. The contractor pays for the scaffolding and the lifting sling tickets.

Open sites with scaffolding, tower crane zones and marked pedestrian routes, plus a heated cabin for breaks. A helmet, high visibility clothing, gloves and safety boots are mandatory and are supplied by the contractor.
