Production Operator

You load glass sheets onto the washing line, check the surface for scratches and chips under the inspection lamp and set the spacer bar to the drawing. After pressing you seal the unit, stamp the batch number and place it in the transport rack in order of dispatch. Every hour you record the line temperature and the sealant consumption on the shift sheet. Two shifts rotate weekly, 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00, and you report to the shift foreman.

Completed primary school, no previous factory work required

Basic Lithuanian or English for the instruction sheet and safety rules

Net salary from 1100 up to 1255 EUR per month

Operators who pass the quality test take over the sealing robot and the measuring station, both paid at a higher grade. The plant fills every foreman post from its own shifts.

A heated production hall with vacuum lifters on the glass line, extraction over the sealing station and a marked walkway along the machines. Cut resistant gloves, eye protection and safety shoes are mandatory and are supplied.
