We are looking for a cook for an à la carte restaurant in central Split focused on modern Mediterranean cuisine. Professional brigade, quality produce from local markets and a well-organized kitchen.
About role
Preparing dishes at garde manger, sauté or grill stations depending on experience and rotation. Mise-en-place, quality control of ingredients, working with the sous chef on seasonal menu development. Following HACCP standards and keeping the workstation clean. 10-12 hour shifts in season with two days off per week.
Who's a fit?
Minimum 3 years of experience in a professional kitchen
Completed culinary school or relevant courses
Knowledge of Mediterranean and Croatian cuisine
Experience with à la carte service and fast pace
HACCP certification required
Willingness to work weekends and holidays
Creativity and attention to detail in plating
