An olive and citrus farm near Kalamata needs harvest workers for the autumn and winter picking season. You pick, sort and load fruit in the groves around Messinia. Daily transport from Kalamata to the fields is provided.
About role
You harvest olives and oranges by hand and with rakes and electric combs, fill crates and load them onto the trailer. The season runs from October to February, with longer hours during the olive peak in November and December. Work starts at 7:00 and the day depends on daylight and weather, so rain days shift the schedule. You move between groves around Messinia and work in teams of four to six under a field leader. The job is outdoor and physical, on uneven ground and in cold mornings.
