Hotel Housekeeping Attendant

You clean and reset guest rooms across a mid-size resort, usually 14 to 18 rooms per shift depending on checkouts. The work is stripping and remaking beds, scrubbing bathrooms, wiping surfaces, vacuuming, restocking towels and amenities, and reporting anything broken to the floor supervisor. You push a service cart along the corridors and use standard cleaning products, a vacuum, and a steam unit for stubborn marks. Most shifts run mornings, roughly 8:00 to 16:00, six days a week through the high season from April to October. During changeover days the pace picks up because rooms have to be turned around fast before the next arrivals. You will also help with corridors, the laundry drop, and the occasional deep clean when a room sits empty.

You start at 1090 net a month. Once you know the floor and can handle a section on your own, pay moves toward 1250 net, usually within a season. Strong attendants move on to room inspector or floor supervisor as positions open.

The site is a resort hotel a short ride from Heraklion, with guest rooms spread over a few low blocks and shared gardens. Summers get hot, so you work mostly indoors with air conditioning, though corridors and outdoor walkways are part of your round. The team is mixed nationalities and the supervisor sets the room list each morning.
