Furniture Joiner / Cabinet Maker

You build kitchen carcasses, wardrobes and shop fittings from chipboard, MDF and solid wood. The day runs on the panel saw, edgebander, CNC router and a hand router, plus the usual clamps, dowel jigs and biscuit joiner. You cut to a list, drill the System 32 holes, glue and clamp, fit hinges and drawer runners, then check every diagonal before it leaves the bench. Some days you are on assembly, other days you sand and prep for the spray line. Most of the work is one shift, roughly 6am to 2pm, Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday when an order is tight.

Joinery or cabinetmaking trade, or solid hands-on experience

Confident on panel saw and edgebander, CNC a plus

Can read cutting lists and simple shop drawings

Clean, accurate work and respect for tight tolerances

Basic English (A1/A2) is enough to follow instructions

Help with relocation and paperwork for the Slovenian work permit

Shared accommodation arranged for the first months, with rent kept low

Work clothes and safety footwear provided

Subsidised hot meal on each shift

Public health insurance from day one

You start at 1520 EUR net. Once you work on your own without checks and handle the CNC and trickier fittings, pay moves up toward 1760 EUR net, usually inside the first year. Lead-hand spots open up for people who train the newer joiners.

The shop is a mid-size production unit, well lit, with dust extraction on the machines and a separate sanding area. It gets loud and dusty by the saws, so ear and dust protection are worn there. The team is small, around a dozen people, and the foreman is on the floor most of the day.
