Hotel Room Attendant

You clean an assigned block of rooms to the house standard: strip and make the beds, clean the bathroom and replace the amenities, dust, vacuum, and check the minibar and the safe. Departures are done first, then the rooms of guests who stay on. You report anything broken to reception on the floor sheet, restock your trolley from the linen room and hand the keys back at the end. The shift is 07:00 to 15:00 and the floor supervisor checks a sample of rooms each day.

Completed primary school, a hotel or cleaning course is an advantage

Previous housekeeping work in a hotel or in serviced apartments is welcome

Able to hold the room standard and a time of about 25 minutes per departure

Careful handling of guest property and of items left in the room

Safe use of cleaning chemicals according to the labels and the data sheets

Physically fit for a morning of bending, lifting linen and pushing a trolley

English at A2 for guest requests and for the floor sheet

Net salary from 1110 up to 1230 EUR per month

Permanent contract after a three month trial period

A cooked staff meal in the hotel canteen on every shift

Help with registration, the residence permit and accommodation

Paid training on the house standard and on the cleaning chemicals

Uniform, gloves and non slip shoes provided and laundered by the hotel

Room attendants who hold a steady standard move to floor supervisor or to the linen room, and the hotel fills its housekeeping office posts from the floor teams.

Guest floors with lifts, a linen room on each level and a trolley for every attendant. The work is indoors and warm, with repeated bending and lifting, and gloves, non slip shoes and a trolley that is easy on the back are provided.
